1. Who We Are
Dcode Talent is a professional talent/agency platform that helps creators and hosts earn through Chamet. We provide onboarding, verification, training, and support; we do not own or operate the Chamet app.
2. Scope
This policy applies to dcodetalent.work, our forms and communications (e.g., WhatsApp), and services we offer to prospective and verified hosts, including payment facilitation and analytics.
3. Information We Collect
A) Information you provide
- Identity & contact: name, phone number, email (e.g., Gmail), address, age confirmation.
- Verification: face photo/selfie (no filters), government ID (if requested), any screenshots/photos for profile creation.
- Hosting profile: photos, biography, preferences, availability.
- Financial: bank/UPI details for payouts, cryptocurrency wallet (e.g., MetaMask address), and related payout choices.
- Communications: messages you send us (e.g., via WhatsApp), support requests, feedback.
- Newsletter: your email and preferences when you subscribe.
B) Information collected automatically
- Device & usage data: IP address, device type, browser, OS, pages visited, referring URLs, timestamps, and general analytics.
- Cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
C) Information from third parties
- Platform partners (e.g., Chamet) for onboarding/verification and account status.
- Payment providers and banks for payout processing and fraud prevention.
- Analytics and anti-abuse services.
4. How We Use Information
- Process applications, verify identity, and onboard you as a host.
- Create and manage your hosting profile and provide training/support.
- Process payouts (bank transfer, UPI, digital wallets, or crypto, as chosen by you).
- Provide dashboards/analytics, improve services, and personalize guidance.
- Communicate with you about updates, security, support, and opportunities.
- Send newsletters/marketing (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements.
5. Legal Bases
Where applicable, we rely on your consent (e.g., marketing, sensitive verification data), performance of a contract (e.g., onboarding, payouts), legitimate interests (e.g., service improvement, security), and compliance with legal obligations. For India, we follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), as applicable.
8. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is fully secure; you use the services at your own risk.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide services (e.g., while you are a host), meet legal/accounting requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. When no longer needed, we delete or anonymize data subject to our backup and archival policies.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law (including India’s DPDP Act), you may have rights to access, correct, update, delete, or port your data; withdraw consent; and register grievances. We will respond to verified requests consistent with the law.
How to exercise your rights
- Send a request to the contact(s) in Section 14 with sufficient details to verify your identity.
- If you withdraw consent where it is required for onboarding/verification, some services may become unavailable.
11. Children
Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided data, please contact us to request deletion.
12. International Transfers
We may process and store data in countries other than yours. Where required, we implement safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as contractual protections and technical measures.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top indicates the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated via the site or direct notice where appropriate.
